Anubis upon a Shrine 

This statue of the god Anubis was found in the tomb of king Tutankhamon in the form of a black jackal, resting upon a shrine. Anubis was a funerary god, he guides the dead in the next world and introduces the deceased into the tribunal of judges for the weighing of the heart.
